 Sunday

It is up with the lark today as we set off before breakfast for a visit to our local Black grouse Lek, witness the stunning males strut their stuff in the hopes of attracting a mate for the upcoming breeding season. Then its back to the warmth of the Grant Arms to stock up with a tasty breakfast before the day starts in earnest!  A trip over the moors should net us our second Grouse of the day, this time Red Grouse and a stop off at a local Lochan should produce a whole gamut of  wildfowl, finally we head to the hills in search of the iconic Golden Eagle.  A magical day in the field.
Target Birds for the day: Black and Red Grouse, Golden and White tailed Eagles.

Monday

Give yourself a treat!  Enjoy a long lie before you head down for your last breakfast at the Grant Arms. Sit back and enjoy the memories of the past three full days birding in the glorious Scottish Highlands, and start planning your next trip North!
