On this full day tour we visit a variety of habitats including beautiful Scottish Lochs (complete with picturesque ruined castle)  Ancient Scottish Woodland, Mountain and stunning valleys in search of Eagles, Crested Tit and Ptarmigan

Target birds for today: Red Grouse. Crested Tit, Ptarmigan, Golden and White Tailed eagle.

Common Eider

A trip “across the water” to the mystical Black Isle on this full day tour. Look for Dolphins and Porpoises alongside the Sea Duck and Divers. Witness mass waders roosts and visit one of the best hides in the Highlands.

Target Birds for today: Scaup, Slavonian Grebe, Greenshank, Long Tailed Duck, Red Kite

Great Northern Diver

Great Northern Diver

 

From long sandy beaches to rocky shore, the shallow waters of the Moray Firth hold a fantastic variety of birds. Purple Sandpipers camouflaged against the sea weed strewn rocks, flights of Knot and Dunlin swirling around over a flat calm sea. Long Tailed Ducks, Common and Velvet Scoters lounging just off shore and the whole range of Divers are on offer, a quick visit to a beautiful inland loch will add freshwater duck to the days total  and our final stop will be at a local spot in search of some elusive white winged gulls.

Target birds for today: Long Tailed Duck. Velvet and Common and Velvet Scoter, Purple Sandpipers
