And so six full days of birding heaven starts on Sunday 10th September! Under the expert guidance of local guide and driver Luis Roberto we will visit a variety of habitats in search of Iconic Southern Spanish species, the rare White headed Duck, Red Necked Nightjars, Montagues harries, Short Toed, Booted and Bonellis Eagles, Black Wheatear, Rock Thrushes, Cirl and Rock Buntings, the list goes on and on, on my recce trip this September we managed an amazing 95 species in a day!  In a single day!! Think of the total list at the end of six days!

Each days birding will commence after breakfast at around 0800, although there will be an optional very early rise for the Red Necked Nightjars, and we aim to be back at the hotel early evening with enough time for perhaps a quick dip in the hotels beautiful pool or a small libation in the bar (or combine the two with a libation at the pool bar!) there will be an evening “call over”  to go over the birds seen that day and discuss the programme for the following day.

What is not included, Transport within the UK, flights to and from Malaga, Taxi to/from Hotel at Guadalmar, Drinks at Hotel, Personal/Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature.

So what are you expecting to pay for this first ever Birding Ecosse Overseas tour? Well after some strong negotiations with all parties involved we can offer this trip  to you at a fantastic price of £1490 per person!

Logistically this trip will have to be full for it to take place, and to that end a go/no go decision will be made in July 2017 so please register interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to talking to you and even more to spending a weeks birding with you in Southern Spain!
